How does BIG Helpers pricing work?
Our pricing is either an hourly or a flat rate, depending on the service requested. Please contact us at (312) 757-4420 or at our Contact Us Form and tell us all about your project.
Do I have to give a deposit?
Deposits are mainly required for larger or flat rated projects.
How do I pay for services?
We accept all major credit cards, debit cards, checks, cash, and Zelle for your convenience.
Can I give a tip to the workers?
Tipping is optional, yet much appreciated by the installers for all their skills and dedication.
What are your service hours?
Service hours begin between 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM depending on the distance from our office to the client. We prefer to have the installers off of the premises by 5:00 - 6:00 PM at the latest.

Our office phone hours are 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM Monday - Saturday.
What is your service area?
We have a generous service area, depending upon the scope of the project. You can review BIG Helpers Service Area map.
Do you provide white glove service?
Yes, we provide white glove service, which includes removing the packaging, inspecting for damage, then hauling away the shipping debris and pallets. White glove service is available for an additional service charge.
Do you offer moving services?
Moving services are available for an additional charge and contingent upon the scope of the moving service requested.
What if I need to reschedule or cancel my appointment?
Please give us more than 48 hours advance notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment to avoid a cancellation/rescheduling fee of $50 per installer assigned to the project.
What happens to my Deposit if I cancel my appointment?
If a deposit was collected for your project, it is fully refundable when you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment more than 48 hours in advance. The refunded amount will be adjusted per the cancellation fee if canceled/rescheduled within 48 hours of the appointment.
Can I help the workers in completing my project?
Clients (including their children and pets) are advised to remain away from the installation area as much as possible. Please only visit when necessary, in order to avoid injury or disruptions to the installation process.
How do I prepare for the arrival of BIG Helpers' installers?
Please have the installation area clear so the installers have room to work, particularly during furniture assembly, Murphy bed installation and cabinet assembly appointments. Appointments take longer if they are working in a cramped space.
